Valencia CF host and highlight the importance of the Nou Mestalla during meetings to discuss key topics and shape the future of European football
The second day of training for the Valencia CF squad members back from their summer break took place on Thursday, as they participated in three demanding sessions at the Ciudad Deportiva. With LaLiga, Champions League, Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercopa action coming up this season, the players will have to be in peak physical condition, and coach Marcelino has set about the task at hand with vigour.
Over the next few days, the players will be convening at the VCF training facility from 8:45am, eating breakfast together before their opening session. The coaching staff have set up fitness routines both in the gym and on the pitch, as well as skills and tactical work, and the VCF stars will also rest and eat all of their meals together before heading to a hotel to sleep at night.
The squad members present this week will gradually be joined by more of their teammates, and after 10 days of work at the Ciudad Deportiva they will go to Crans-Montana (Switzerland) for their customary summer training camp. One day following their arrival, Valencia CF will play AS Monaco in the 2019 Alps Football Festival, in their opening preseason fixture.
